About
I am a Ph.D. Student in the Computational Imaging Group at the Visual Computing Center under the supervision of Prof. Wolfgang Heidrich at KAUST. My current research is focused on the intersection of microscopy, Fourier optics & imaging, and signal processing. I am interested in designing and optimizing new imaging systems, including the establishment of models, the implementation of algorithms, and the construction of optical paths.
Before coming to KAUST, I spent six years at Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) and obtained B.Eng. in Opto-Electronics Information Science & Engineering and M.Eng. in Instrument Science & Technology. My past research was on computational imaging and its application. During 2021-2022, advised by Prof. Zhengang Lu, I built a reflective microscopic system for surface detection and designed a defect detection algorithm for periodic texture samples. During 2019-2021, I worked on computational illumination technologies in Fourier Ptychography with Prof. Zhengjun Liu.
